Conclusion of Why did Kakashi kill Rin In episode 345 of Naruto Shippuden (/I’m in Hell), when Obito arrives on the battlefield, he sees how Kakashi killed Rin. Yet he said that he didn't summon the Kyuubi. His attacks on the village increasing suspicion and marginalisation of the Uchiha,causing others to turn as well,eventually segregating them enough to want to plan a coup: totally plausible feedback loop of suspicion,betrayal and bad blood. Turning traitor,coming back for revenge: fine. I am willing to accept that the Uchiha clan was being marginalised and that Madara didn't like that one bit it's a classic motivation. The reasons are good,despite the Unreliable Narrator. He is their master - making him responsible for Akatsuki, he will die by their hands as redemption for creating them. He is within striking distance of the Big Bad - And you know that he has to last much longer, the only possible outcome is The Worf Effect, Pain will kill Jiraiya just to show that he is stronger than the Sanin.
